the boy with his puppy

A boy entered the Pet Shop labeled
"Puppies For Sale. "


He asks:
"How much for a puppy?"


The store owner replied, "About 30 to 50 dollars."


The boy said,
"I only have 23.5 dollars. Can I see the puppy?"


The store owner smiled. He then whistled. 
Shortly afterwards came the five puppies while running.
But there was one who seemed to lag behind.


The boy asked,
"Why is the puppy?"


The store owner explained that the puppy suffered from defects due to abnormalities in the hip at birth.


The little boy got really excited and said,
"I bought the puppy."


The store owner replied, "No, do not buy the defective puppy, son. 
If you want to have it, I'll give it to you."


The boy was disappointed.
He stared at the man and said,
"I will not be given free of charge. 
Although flawed, it costs the same as any other puppy. 
I'll pay full. Today my money Dollar 23.5. 
Every day I will repay the 0.5 Dollars until paid off."


But he refused, "Son, do not buy this puppy. 
He could not run fast, can not jump and play like other puppies."


The boy was silent. Then he pulled the tip of his trousers. 
And behold, the feet are deformed.
He stared at the man and said,
"Sir, I can not run fast. 
I also can not jump around and play like other boys. 
Therefore, I know that the puppy needs someone who can understand her suffering."


The store owner was thrilled and said,
"I will pray every day for these puppies to have a good owner like you."


the Value of life isn't lies in the status or the advantages that we have,
but on what we do based on Conscience.
Who understand and accept the shortcomings.

Seorang anak lelaki memasuki Pet Shop bertuliskan 
"Dijual Anak Anjing". 

Ia bertanya : 
"Berapa harga seekor anak anjing?"

Pemilik toko menjawab, "Sekitar 30 sampai 50 Dollar."

Anak itu berkata,  
"Aku hanya mempunyai 23,5 Dollar. 
Bisakah aku melihat-lihat anak anjing itu?"

Pemilik toko tersenyum. Ia lalu bersiul. 
Tak lama kemudian muncullah lima ekor anak anjing sambil berlarian. 
Tapi ada seekor yang tampak tertinggal di belakang. 

Anak itu bertanya, 
"Kenapa anak anjing itu?" 

Pemilik toko menjelaskan bahwa anak anjing itu 
menderita cacat karena kelainan di pinggul saat lahir. 

Anak lelaki itu tampak gembira dan berkata, 
"Aku beli anak anjing itu."

Pemilik toko menjawab, "Jangan, jangan beli anak anjing cacat itu, Nak. 
Jika kau ingin memilikinya, aku akan berikan saja untukmu."

Anak itu kecewa. 
Ia menatap pemilik toko itu dan berkata, 
"Aku tak mau diberikan cuma-cuma. Meski cacat, 
harganya sama seperti anak anjing lainnya.  
Aku akan bayar penuh. 
Saat ini uangku 23,5 Dollar. 
Setiap hari aku akan mengangsur 0,5 Dollar sampai lunas."

Tetapi lelaki itu menolak, 
"Nak, jangan beli anak anjing ini. Dia tidak bisa lari cepat, 
tidak bisa melompat & bermain seperti anak anjing lainnya."

Anak itu terdiam. 
Lalu ia menarik ujung celana pnjangnya. Dan tampaklah kaki yang cacat. 
Ia mnatap pemilik toko itu dan berkata, 
"Tuan, aku pun tdk bisa brlari cepat. 
Akupun tidak bisa melompat-lompat dan bermain-main seperti anak lelaki lain.  Karena itu aku tahu, 
bahwa anak anjing itu membutuhkan seseorang yg bisa mengerti penderitaannya."

Pemilik toko itu terharu dan berkata, 
"Aku akan berdoa setiap hari agar anak-anak anjing ini mempunyai majikan sebaik engkau."

Nilai kemuliaan hidup bukanlah terletak pada status ataupun kelebihan yang kita miliki, 
melainkan pada apa yang kita lakukan berdasarkan pada Hati Nurani. 
Yang mengerti dan menerima kekurangan.

"Keindahan fisik bukanlah jaminan keindahan batinnya"
