Deafness

a husband was worried,
recently his wife doesn't respond when he calls her name.
he thought his wife was suffering from deafness.


then he wrote an email to his friend who was a doctor, 
telling his concern and ask him for an advice.


"why don't you try this, 
call your wife from 3 metres away. 
if she doesn't respond, go closer and 
call her again. 
if your wife still doesn't answer, 
get even closer. 
if she still doesn't answer then 
she is deaf," reply his friend in an email.


One day, he saw his wife was cooking. 
from a distance of about 3 metres away 
he asked,"what are you cooking mom?" 
but his wife doesn't react.


her husband began to suspect, 
he approached, "what are you cooking mom?"
he asked again more loudly.
his wife still doesn't react,she was still busy cooking.


both anxious and worried, 
the husband got even closer "WHAT ARE YOU COOKING?" 
this time he shouted.


suddenly his wife turned around and said 
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? 
I TOLD YOU 2 TIMES I AM COOKING PUMPKIN 
AND YOU KEEP ON ASKING!"




so, who is the deaf one. 
when we have problems with others, 
could the source be from ourselves? 
we better instrospect ourselves first before blaming others.

seorang suami merasa kuatir,

akhir-akhir ini istrinya setiap dipanggil tidak pernah menyahut.

jangan-jangan istrinya itu menderita ketulian,begitu dia berpikir.

lalu dia menulis email kepada temannya yang seorang dokter,

menceritakan kekuatirannya dan meminta saran.

"begini saja,coba panggil istrimu dari jarak sekitar 3 meter, 

kalau dia tidak menyahut, kamu mendekat dan panggil lagi dia.

kalau istrimu tetap tidak menyahut, kamu lebih mendekat lagi.

kalau istrimu tetap tidak menyahut,

berarti memang dia tuli." tulis temannya di email

suatu pagi, dia melihat istrinya sedang masak. 

dari jarak sekitar 3 meter, 

dia bertanya,"sedang masak apa ma?"

istrinya tidak bergeming.

sang suami mulai curiga, 

dia mendekat,"sedang masak apa ma?" tanyanya lagi lebih keras. 

istrinya masih tidak menoleh.dia terus asyik memasak.

antara makin curiga dan kesal,sang suami lebih mendekat lagi,"SEDANG MASAK APA MA?"

kali ini dia berteriak

tiba-tiba istrinya berbalik,dan sambil melotot berkata,"KAMU INI KENAPA SI? 2 KALI AKU BILANG SEDANG MASAK LABU. KAMU MASIH TANYA TERUS!"

begitulah, siapa tuli siapa tidak.

masalah kita dengan orang lain,

jangan-jangan sumbernya dari diri kita sendiri. 

maka,sebelum menuduh orang lain begini dan begitu, baiknya kita instropeksi diri dulu.
